Passion didn’t take the winter off at the

Motorcycle Show Toronto

Toronto, ON (February 24, 2017) – The Motorcycle Show - Toronto presented by Dalton Timmis Insurance took place on February 17th to 19th, 2017 at The Enercare Centre – Exhibition Place.

The Show enjoyed spring-like weather for all three days and several hundred enthusiasts took advantage of the free motorcycle parking and rode to the show.

The Show opened Friday at noon to a good line-up, and saw strong attendance over the three-day weekend. The combination of the new models for 2017, lots of entertainment, great prizes and beautiful weather drew 29,875 people for a 4% increase over the previous year.

“She Rides” opened at 5:00 PM on Friday night with half-priced tickets for the ladies, free parking for all and one lucky lady winning a 2017 Kawasaki Ninja from Canadian Kawasaki and Ready Powersports.

“It was a busy weekend, with good crowds and tons to see and do,” said Show Manager, Neil Fardy. In addition to a first look at the new 2017 models, show-goers enjoyed the adrenaline-packed action of the Latimer Stunt Show, the precision handling of Jordan Szoke’s Trials Demonstrations, the always-popular How To demonstrations by Clinton Smout, and the Ontario Provincial Police Precision Riding Team.”

For children and parents the Yamaha Riding Academy was a fan favourite, giving kids aged 6 to 12 a chance to learn to ride a motorcycle. The Academy was busy throughout the weekend most sessions fully-booked.

The weekend ended with the Grand Prize Draw - a week in Portugal, complete with airfare, hotel and the use of a BMW motorcycle, presented by Europa Travel and Q107.

Overall, the Show was a success and reflected the marketing campaign’s theme that “ Passion does not take the winter off”.
